 Registry Cleaners

How Exactly Do They Work?

There are hundreds of Registry Cleaners on the market, and choosing the right one for your PC could seem quite overwhelming. Thankfully, choosing a Registry Cleaner – as with choosing anything else – becomes less complicated as you take time to understand exactly what it does and how it works.

Most Registry Cleaners start with the same basic features – the backup, the scan, and the removal/repair. From here, the software developers add secondary “fix-it” features and utility tools, raising the prices accordingly. Although several of the added features will seem similar to those found in your PC’s System Tools (i.e. Disk-Clean-Up, Defrag, etc.) having everything in one neat little package is very convenient - and convenience is a good thing.

A typical Registry Cleaner downloads quickly and installs easily. A user-friendly interface offers two initial scan options - the Full Scan (deeper scanning, takes longer), or the Quick/Smart Scan (efficient, not as deep, time-saver).  A user then chooses to either scan all or just a few from the following list of registry issues (list may vary): invalid COM/ActiveX, Uninstall Entries, Shell Extensions, Shared DLLs, File/Path References, and Help File Info; missing/corrupt Font Entries; incorrect Application Paths and Program Shortcuts; missing Windows Start-Up entries and empty Registry Keys.  The Cleaner will perform the chosen scan, display errors and issues, offer the option of system backup, and prompt the user to remove and/or repair the problems.  For very tired, slow-running computers, a user will typically scan a second time in order to remove/repair all that is bogging down the system

Some Registry Cleaners will include your Internet trail in its cleaning spree. Temporary files, search history, websites viewed, stored offline pages, cookies, browser cache, and more can be removed, emptied, or deleted by a quick, second scan. If you'd prefer your Registry Cleaner take charge, simply enter a time and day in the “scheduler option” and maintenance becomes automatic. Registry Cleaner software is certainly not rocket science. It is, however, the best system tool for guiding your lethargic PC back to peak performance.
Ready to invest in a Registry Cleaner? With a little basic knowledge, you will make a wiser purchase.

Now by installing a reputable registry cleaner, such as RegCure™ you can put your PC into rehab and have it working just like when it was new.
